Job Description

Our client involved in the Online Higher Education space is looking to bring on a few freelance copywriters from January to March - all remote. The role will be 40 hrs / week to start in Mid-January to February and will taper off in March. The Copywriters will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging marketing copy for mostly digital channels, ensuring content aligns with business goals and each partner's brand voice. They will produce content on schedule, ensuring accuracy and quality before moving to the next phase. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, SEO, UX, video) to meet project requirements and actively participating in meetings to stay aligned with project goals. Additionally, the Copywriter will identify and escalate content-related issues to the manager when necessary. Key Competencies:

  • Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and content is delivered in a timely manner.

  • Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying issues within content and escalating them when necessary to ensure quality and consistency.
Key Skills:
  • Copywriting: Proficiency in writing clear, engaging, and persuasive marketing content across multiple channels (email, social media, websites, print, etc.).
  • Branding and Voice Consistency: Ability to adapt writing style to match diverse brand identities and project goals.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, coordinating with design, SEO, and other departments to create cohesive marketing materials.
  • Project Management: Skill in managing content from creation to final approval, ensuring alignment with timelines and deadlines.
  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and how they influence content creation for digital marketing.
  • Adaptability: Ability to pivot and adjust writing based on feedback or changing requirements.
